Virginia Woolf: An Exhibition Inspired By Her Writings is a major touring exhibition featuring 80 female artists, from 1854 to the present day, inspired by the novelist Virginia Woolf. The visual artists working in photography, painting, sculpture and film have sought to record the vast scope of female experience and to shape alternative ways for women to be. They include Laura Knight, Gwen John, Vanessa Bell, Eileen Agar, Dora Carrington, Gluck, Prunella Clough and Caragh Thuring.
