The Celtic and Irish Cultural Society present an afternoon celebrating Irish culture in the south east with a fun day. John McNicholl heads a list of international entertainers, with 15 bands playing traditional, contemporary and easy listening music in three different areas. The dance area features The Festival Open Feis, the famous Crawley Ceili and displays from Crawley’s Irish Dance Schools. Children’s entertainment includes games, art workshops, song, storytelling and folklore. There’s an Irish shop, GAA All Ireland Football on the big screen, food and craft stalls and more. Sky TV’s Martin Logan will be filming for his show Irish in the UK, and Neil Munday and team at Susy Radio will be broadcasting live all day.
