APL Theatre present a new production filled with adventure, fun and festive spirit. The family musical is a fast-paced spectacular featuring a mix of well-known Christmas arrangements and original songs. Holly Kringle is a hardworking, young investigative journalist at a small New York magazine – who must get the next big festive scoop or she is out. She receives a letter from a secret organisation, The Ministry of Mistletoe, requesting her assistance on a top secret mission: Santa has been kidnapped! MoM believe it to be the work of dastardly duo Jack & Jill Frost, who believe that only the naughtiest of children should be rewarded and that Santa’s jolly days need to be put on ice. Holly must follow the clues, meet an array of colourful characters and find a way to fly to the rescue in order to find Santa and save Christmas.

This show by the award-winning theatre company 1927 is a theatrical journey of startling originality. Welcome to the Bayou, a part of the city feared and loathed wherein lies the infamous Bayou Mansions; a sprawling stinking tenement block, where curtain-twitchers and peeping-toms live side by side, and the wolf is always at the door. When Agnes Eaves and her daughter arrive late one night, does it signal hope in this hopeless place, or has the real horror only just begun? Seamlessly synchronising live music, performance and storytelling with stunning films and animation, this is the wickedly twisted international hit tale from the multiple award-winning company behind Golem and The Magic Flute.
