Whistle Down The Wind

The Broadway Players present the musical Whistle Down The Wind, which tells the tale of deep religious beliefs versus the anger and frustration of humanity. Set at Christmas 1959 in Louisiana, it follows the story of three farm children who discover a fugitive hiding in the barn. Mistaken for Jesus Christ, the children are heavily influenced by him. The children tell the rest of the village who protect him, which complicates the secret, and when the preacher finds out, a witch hunt ensues. It features hit songs including No Matter What and Whistle Down the Wind. Produced and directed by Jade Powers, and the musical director is Michael Cullen.
