The Sleep of Reason

The Sleep of Reason is a theatrical life drawing event with models posing in still tableau throughout the Old Market with the characters of The Drawing Circus taking on a new wild aspect as the circus draws upon the muse of nature – forest spirits will cavort, unclothed amongst the creatures of the forest to weave a story in still poses accompanied by live music from the Drawchestra. The Drawing Circus are a Brighton-based troupe of models, artists and tutors who put on themed drawing events around the UK. Easels and drawing boards are provided on a first come first served basis, please bring your own drawing materials. This is an untutored event, open to all drawing abilities.
